Dance. Drama. Song.

HIV/AIDS poses a real and dangerous threat to our community in Uganda.  Needy Support Centre has several dance, drama, and music groups whose aim to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS.

These groups include a women's group who performs traditional dances and contemporary music from the northern Acholi and Langi regions to express their concern and spread awareness about HIV/AIDS.

A youth group organized by youth leaders performs dramas targeted specifically to young people and their caregivers.  The dramas discuss contemporary issues involving the prevention, treatment, and stigma of HIV/AIDS.  Additionally, there is a children's group which includes children affected by HIV/AIDS.  They perform songs addressing HIV/AIDS and the hopes they have for the future.

The women's group is available to perform at conferences and events in Kampala.  For more information about this group please contact Needy Support Centre
